Coating on the outside wears off!!!Thats probly not good for the food. takes forever to heat up and smoke.

Smoker Pucks are great

I purchased these pucks as an alternative to another product that I was looking at. My hesitation came from not knowing if they would fit the Bradley Wood Pucks that I have for my Bradley Smoker. I was VERY happy to see that this wasn't an issue. You don't just have to use pucks, you can also use loose wood chips. These wood pucks add such a dynamic taste to what ever it is your grilling. I haven't tried to use these in a propane BBQ, only in my Master Chef Charcoal BBQ.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: will these work in a bradley smoker in place of the pucks?

A: This item is not intended for use in a smoker. Master Chef Smoker Pucks are individual mini smoker smoker boxes designed to quickly add smoke on the grill surface turning your grill into a smoker. They are made of enamel coated steel for high heat and flame resistance and are used with wood chips or pellets to generate smoke. They can be used on gas or charcoal grills, temperatures inside the cooking area of a smoker are generally not hot enough to ignite this type of fuel.

A: A Bradley Smoker is an electric smoker that feeds compressed sawdust "pucks" into the heat source of the smoker automatically, thus producing heat and smoke for the duration of the cook time. Therefore there is no need to use the Master Chef Smoker Pucks with this product as smoke is already being continually produced.Bradley fuel pucks are able to fit into Master Chef Smoker Pucks.
