Astoundingly-bad construction and design

a day ago

Stupid metal plate with the label and "rivets" (they're not true rivets) came undone while I was hand-washing it with a sponge, immediately after taking it out of the packaging and before using it for cooking. Brain-bogglingly bad design; spend a bit more money on a higher-quality product. Hopefully then you'll have a roasting pan which lasts 2 hand-washings.

Sorry but rusty water.

The roaster is a good size for spatchcock turkey. The enamel was not well adhered and broke off two corners and a handle. After being washed, stored and brought out for use, a handle on the lower roaster dripped rusty water. The branding label is riveted to a plate inside the pretty lower roaster. That plate is impossible to clean behind, In our experience this is a poorly executed, good concept.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this for a 28 pound turkey and it was fine, but in the future I wouldn't go beyond a 25 pound turkey. Otherwise, its a great roaster and was easy to clean.

Q: Does 41cm length include the handles? or it's just the length of the pan?

Q: The description indicates that this is NOT dishwasher safe. Why is this the case? Is it the finish? Is it the bolted on name tag? If I could fit this in my dishwasher, would I have a problem?

A: I’ve never washed it in the dishwasher as it’s quite large. It has a very glossy finish, which might be the reason it’s not dishwasher safe. Good news, it’s non-stick and very easy to clean.
