Portable, Inexpensive but with some Flaws

Not bad for the price, good amount of cooking area for a portable grill. The vent in the lid needs to be a bit bigger to allow ample airflow through the cooking chamber without starving the coals of oxygen. The paint on the stand also flaked off from the heat, so longevity of the metal is questionable at best. We will need to spray some high temp paint to prevent the bare metal from rusting.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello, I'm not sure if you mean that you want to put the foil so that it is between the charcoal and the food. I would not recommend that as it would block a lot of heat from cooking your food. If you want to put the foil under the charcoal to make cleaning easier, that is absolutely fine.

A: Hello Jerry, while the grill won't get ruined by doing this, we recommend using it as designed to be cooked with charcoal in the fire bowl. You Won't be able to get enough heat on the food if the fuel is outside the fire bowl. The rubber on the legs will melt however.
