Fits well and protects your hand(s) from the heat of the griddle on the BBQ. It fits well according to its size. It looks a bit bit bulky, but is surprisingly easy to use for more fine motor tasks than it would appear. It grips small objects and tools pretty easily.

A: We use ours as a general-purpose oven mitt and it gets dirty occasionally. We've had no problem throwing it in the washing machine, then drying it well it over a furnace vent.
