Product heats up very well and does the job. Where I found some flaws: 1) I wish there would be a min/max level for the oil 2) when the basket it lifted up to drain, it would be nice if it were level and not have a quarter of it still in the oil 3) some silicone grips on the basket edges (or something) for extra grabbing space would be an asset 4) thermometer is a bonus, but a sleeker design as to not affect the operation of the basket would be great.
Overall, I would purchase again, just have to work with what I consider minor deficiencies.

Meager welds broke on the gas mixing valve while installing the propane line, didn't even get to use it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Some burners are cast and other are stamped aluminum/steel. Doesn't last long and last one I bought, you can't regulate the burner as the cast is rough and won't allow you to move the opening dial. I think they forgot to grind the one side smooth as other side it smooth where the screw is

A: Mine also broke, just use a slot screwdriver in the slot of the timer shaft. It’s annoying to have the timer but it is a mandatory CSA safety feature as was mentioned.

A: It is recommended that the cooking vessel not exceed 6.5 qt (6.1 L) & 11 1/4” (28.5 cm) diameter. A BIGGER VESSEL MAY RESULT IN TIPPING.

A: The amount of Oil placed inside the pan for cooking is dependent on what your are frying? Since the pan has a holding capacity a 10.5 qt or 9.94 liters, you need to be sure that the Oil does not over flow the pan when placing the food in it. Therefore, no more than approximately 40% of the capacity of the pan should be be filled with Oil to start with or 4.2 quarts / 3.98 liters.

A: No, this item can not operate off of a 1lb propane tank. The regulator for this item will not function properly if you try to use a 1lb propane tank.

A: The 10.5 qt Fryer should be able to fry 3-5 lbs of fish at a time. However, this dependent on the size of the fillets and temp of the oil as it must be maintained while frying.
