Good size but handles difficult to raise

I bought this to cook a turkey in. It is perfect size for a turkey about 15 lbs. I did not like the handles as I found them difficult to bring up with my oven mitts on. Might have to put some tape or something around them that would be heat proof.

A: Maybe at a very low temperature, but I still wouldn't recommend it for stove-top use. Nor for oven use. The best use for this item is as filler for your garbage pail, unfortunately. I strongly recommend getting something else instead.
