Doesn’t Work

When I purchased this the box had already been opened and was resealed. I bought this for a trip to Ireland. This adapter simply didn’t work. Fortunately, I had a second adapter with me as a backup that did the job. Not only is this item not work it is overpriced. The second adapter I had was cheaper and worked.

Q: will this converter work in cuba?

A: Cuba in general runs on 110vac at 60hz.. Many resorts however use 220vac 60hz.I have attached a picture of a outlet at the Iberostar Varadero in Cuba.The pins are round so use the adapter labeled Caribbean into the outlet first and then to convert down to 110vac, plug the power converter into the Caribbean adapter.

A: Hi there, to be honest I used mainly for my cell phone when we did a cruise over in Europe and it didn’t work very well at all at sea. It was very very slow charging , so it might work being low voltage.

A: Hi Harry. As previously mentioned, the travel Adaptor/ Converter can be used with you electronics, like iPhone, laptop ect. I also specified that it could be used with the "TRAVEL only" appliances/ accessories like TRAVEL iron, TRAVEL hairdryer. You can not use Travel Adaptor/ Converter for the regular, full power appliances. I hope this helps. Thank you so much.

A: Hi Hassan, Most laptops and cell phones these days have built-in converter, so you would need the adaptor only when travelling to other countries. Converter in countries with a different voltage is used for the travel accessories only, like travel iron, travel hair dryer, and such. Like with every other electronic equipment, please refer to the instruction manual when using the converter/ adaptor. Thank you,
