Works good. Could use a smaller tip

Works great for small stuff and kit is very handy my only complaint working on vehicles and atv’s is that i find myself looking for a smaller torch tip. I’ve only used the smallest of the 3 tips in the kit so far

The extra heads supplied gave me lots of flexibility for the heating jobs I was doing. The carrying case kept everything in order , so as not to misplace anything

The torch produces a nice hot flame that works well with regular solder and lets you use it for silver solder as well. The three tips allow for versatile heating of the work. The case keeps it all organized.

A: Hi Larry T. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this torch kit 058-7510 (MT579PROC) was not designed to cut metals, as the temperature generated by these torches are not sufficient. What we suggest you try is Canadian Tire's part number 058-7579 (MT585OXC) which can cut steel up to 3/16". Faheem Schroeder.

Q: Does this MagPro product come with MAP//Pro and/or Propane fuel tanks in the inital purchase, or does it require a separate purchase?

A: Dear Customer, Thank you for your question. This Pro-Kit comes with a 14.1 oz. cylinder of Map//Pro gas as part of the kit. Q: can you braze weld with this? And whats the different tips for?

A: This torch can be used for light brazing and welding of up to 1/8 of an inch. However, a better torch for brazing and welding would be our MagTorch Torch Kit (0587579).
