Great torch, poor design

I should have listened to thw reviews I read, great torch, as long as you need a massive flame, cause as soon as you turn it down the tip of the torch glows red in no time and melts the internal components. Needed to be on high flame to work properly is a poor design in my eyes.

Q: Is it suitable for welding aluminum deck rail I have tried your aluminum rod using a regular propane blow torch.. it works on a small sample, but the large 3" deck rail seems to conduct too much heat from the area. would this torch provide enough heat? thanks, chris

Q: There are no propylene bottles for sale! Where can I find a replacement gas bottle? I cannot find Fat Boy Max Power Propylene Gas Cylinder anywhere in any store, nor on the Bernz o matic website!

Q: Do you sell smaller tips for finer work? I want to braze some fine metal work. Do you or anyone sell torch "tips" that are smaller than the regular tips for this type of work?

Q: Is it compatible with other cylinders such as those sold in store? Similarly, is it compatible with off-brand fuel cylinders?

A: The torch is compatible with both Map-Pro (14oz) and Propane fuel (16 or 14oz). As long as the tank is a CGA600 connection, like the Coleman or BernzOmatic brand found at CTC, they will be compatible.

Q: Can the nozzle be pointed both upwards and downwards? The image only shows it pointed upwards which is why I ask.

A: Yes, this torch can be pointed in either direction as the burn tube can be rotated 360 degrees, and the torch is pressure regulated.

Q: Can I use this with 58-0043-2 rods to join light galvanised sheet and wire?

A: The TS839 should work fine for this project, however, i might recommend the TS8000 as an alternative because the heat output of the TS8000 is hotter and will allow you to finish the job quicker while using less fuel.
