Not “ just right”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So upon first inspection I was impressed! I enjoy using Crescent tools in my day to day as I am a union electrician. I’m always looking for new tools to add to my collection. Anyhow I was excited to try yet another tape measure as I need them every day! This one had the weight and sturdiness to it that I enjoy using. It’s definitely a solid product and I will continue using it until it fails.
But, like a good pair of boots it takes some time to find the perfect fit. Unfortunately for me the housing doesn’t feel just right, at least for me. I have used multiple brands from Milwaukee, Stanley, Komeleon, and Klein to name a few. While the Crescrnt tape isn’t my favorite I would definitely rank it in my top three. Do thanks for another great tool!

Great tape for low light conditions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is now my go-to tape for any and all jobs. The orange and black color pattern make it easy to find in my tool box or tractor.The magnetic tip comes in very handy when working on metal studs. We have all pushed the limits of daylight to complete a job. This tape is awesome for these low light conditions. Strangely enough it almost seems like it is lighted.This a must have for anyone who pushes past dusk to finish the job

Wide, Easy-Read Blade and Strong Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great upgrade over the previous generation and the magnet is a nice addition. The blade is nice and wide with easy to read markings. It seems like the markings might be slightly larger than previous generations, which is helpful. The action is nice and smooth. I didn't feel any grinding when using it. The hook is textured to provide grip. It would be nice if it was just slightly larger to make it easier to hook onto things, but once you get it hooked on, it stays pretty well. The button to stop the retraction is incredibly strong. This isn't one of those where you push the button, and you can still easily slide the tape in and out. It holds on quite well.

Easy to Read Tape Measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s always at the wrong time that your tape flips when trying to measure, and with this guy, it’s no problem. This tape measure has a really smooth feel, just as smooth as any other brand I have ever tried. The standout is impressive, as I measure windows for shades all the time, this guy saves me time and $! Easy reading front and back, strong magnet too- no complaints here!

Great tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really liking this new tape measure. So far really durable. Has taken a drop even. It is a lot easier to read by far.i feel it will last me quite awhile. I usually by a new tape measure 4+ times a year.
