Lucas is my go to grease on the farm.

I always use X-TRA that rolls. I use these 2 rules when it comes to grease: If it rolls (wheels, roller bearings, etc.), then Green X-TRA grease. If it pivots (front end loader, backhoe, etc.) then Red "N" Tacky. Also if it's exposed to any elements, then Red "N" Tacky does the trick.

Q: Is the X-Tra Heavy Duty Lucas Oil the same as Benalene 920?

    1 Answer
    • A: Benalene 920 is a 0 or 00 rated grease. One of the properties is it is almost liquid. Our X Tra HD grease is a #2 grease. It does not share these properties. It is not compatible.

Q: do you have grease rated NLGI 0 or 00? Lawn tractor transmission calls for Benalene 920 grease (Shell brand name). Require an inexpensive substitute with NLGI rating of 0 or 00.

    1 Answer
    • A: No I am sorry we do not have a 0 or 00 rated grease. We have greases that fall into the 2 category. You need a softer grease with more oil content which is what a 0 or 00 rated grease is. Sorry we could not help.
