Lucas Synthetic Multi-Vehicle CVT Fluid is a premium, full synthetic transmission fluid specifically designed for use in passenger cars with steel belt-driven or chain continuously variable transmissions. Lucas CVT Fluid guards against wear & corrosion. It resists shear thinning better than typical CVT fluids. Lucas CVT Fluid provides superior cooling, & excellent low-temperature fluidity for smoother operation in cold weather. Its balanced coefficient of friction to insure good adhesion between CVT belt and pulleys - no slippage. Protects against sludge and varnish formation. Excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability. It has a low coefficient of friction between steel and clutch material to eliminate shudder. It has been specifically engineered to have the unique frictional properties required for use in this type transmission.

Works on Nissan CVT Perfectly as you'd wish!

Used it on 2016 nissan versa note. past 120,000kms, my cvt belt was slipping and I thought it was over because the transmission had not been flushed ever in its life. but I tried flushing the cvt with this fluid and boom! it came back to life. although it was already fairly damaged and now after runniing for over 10,000+ more kms, it started slipping occassonially again, but I'm going to flush my cvt once more and hopefully the magic works once again.

I used this in my 2017 Sentra with approximately 47,272 km on it, much of it stop-n-go. Since I drained only fluid, not replaced the 2 filters as well, I was only able to get approximately 2.2 quarts (2.2 bottles) out even though I had the car jacked up at a crazy angle to really promote the drainage. This means I only drained about 60% of the fluid. But even so, the CVT is smoother, shifts into gear quicker, up shifts and down shifts quicker, and gets into the correct gear ratio more accurately. Lucas is Lucas, you can never go wrong with it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Will this work with a Toyota Corolla 2014 with CVT. Toyota recommends CVT FE fluid. Can this Lucas product be mixed with the original CVT FE that was factory installed in the Corolla.

A: Yes. On the label Lucas CVT specifies compatibility with Toyota/Lexus TC, FW, WS & Prius "eCVT". Lucas products are designed to mix with many if not all oil types. The only issue is if your vehicle is still on warranty. The manufacturer may specify use of there brand of oil only & say do not mix with any other oil brand, because they do not have any quality control over that brand & did not do there testing with that oil. Though it may meet standards they do not want to take the risk. Hence they may not honour warranty work if a failure occurs while using other brands of oil. My opinion is Lucas Cvt is a great oil & Lucas has a wide range of very good products.
