    Works Great

Torch was "fussy" to light, but once it was going, it truly was an Inferno! I used it wearing sandals but it was scary, one misdirection will result in a serious burn, it is an Inferno. Wear a good pair of work boots. Did a fantastic job on de-weeding my large patio and side-walks very quickly.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: HOW TO GET THIS THING WORKING??? Canadian propane tanks have QCC1 valve. Apparently the LincolnElectric also has some kind of safety valve inside the hose. For the life of me, I can't get enough flow. Something is throttling the gas. Any ideas?

    • A: If all else fails read the manual. It worked perfect for me. I have a QCC1 valve on my Canadian Propane Tank, same as you. You first just have to make sure that both screw valves are closed (one on the tank, one on the torch), then you SLOWLY open the tank valve, then you hold down the safety valve lever and crack open the needle valve on the torch till you hear gas just begin to flow, then you light the safety flame, then you open up the needle valve on the torch until you get the desired flame. You have to hold down the safety valve the whole time while you are operating it, which is a good feature to have when you have that much flame shooting out of the end.
