Had this helmet for a long time and regards of working and lasting it did well,but i found that welding inside the lens would be to dark to see where I was welding. Welding outside in the sun I could see well enough.
The biggest issue for me is now that the batteries have depleted the helmet is trash, i looked to see if they offered a whole new replacement lens and motherboard unit as the helmet is still in perfect condition but they don’t!
Next helmet will have replaceable batteries for sure!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hum... not so good
a year ago
I bought uncouple of years ago... After a year of use, the lens started to act erratically... causing me a flash; problem is... the batteries are welded to the board... you can't change them. I think there are better options out there in terms of welding helmet.

A: For sku 58-0037 the correct replacement outer clear plastic lens kit is 58-9408 (KH778), shown here: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/lincoln-electric-replacement-lens-kit-0589408p.html This kit includes 2 outer and 2 inner clear plastic replacement pieces. To clarify, this is the replacement clear plastic lens that often gets scratched up / or dirty, not the electronic screen the user looks through to weld.

A: The ADF cartridge replacement part can be purchased at a Canadian Tire through a special order. However, iif your helmet is less than 2 years old it is still covered under the product’s warranty period. By presenting the item and proof of purchase at a store you would be eligible to receive a new helmet.

Q: is there a replacement part for the auto-darkening lense inside the helmet? (not the clear lenses that go on the front of the helmet)

A: Hello, The only replacement we have is sold as a set. The vendor part number is KH778. and it is a double set of the inner and outer lenses. Canadian Tire part number is 58-9408.

A: Yes, the replacement lenses for all Lincoln Electric's retail graphic helmets is under vendor part number KH778. The CTC sku number to look for is 58-9408.

A: As for the cheater lens, the version we carry can be installed right behind the outer lens cover. 1.5 and 2.0 diopter are the two available options.
