Not a Maglite, but very affordable

"Cheap" LED flashlights are getting quite common these days. You buy them in dollar stores! I'd suggest avoiding those ones. For a little more you can buy these good ones from Eveready.
The light output from these flashlights is a little better than a krypton-bulb flashlight. The battery life is superior to any krypton-bulb flashlight because of the LEDs. The flashlights are quite sturdy and will survive a drop of six feet. (That was an accidental test, not deliberate.)
These lights may not be in the same league as Maglites or even Noma's CREE line of flashlights, but they're good value for the money.
