    Two-man job

Bought in September 2025 but had to get concrete shed base installed so only put it up at the start of December Would NOT advise trying to assemble solo. Assembly instructions pretty detailed but some parts are ambiguous - 'curved edges curve towards the outside of the shed' for instance for left door jamb. Not bad, but better diagrams needed here. Found most parts fitted well enough, but roof and skylight are tricky. Attaching roof panels to sidewalls saw some screws miss the target and appear below the roof panel. Solved by removing and angling upwards around 30-45 degrees instead of going in horizontally. Skylight also awkward to secure as it bows upwards in parts. My helper was unavailable so a 25-kilo sandbag had to be dragged onto the roof to hold it down while I secured below. Not a convincing fix screwing into flexible plastic, but it did pull into the fitting channels. We shall see if it survives expanding in the heat of the sun. Locking mechanism would be defeated by a crowbar, and a moderately determined thief could cut through a window panel with ease, so wouldn't leave anything too valuable in there.

Assembly instructions have improved, but base must be PERFECTLY level

I bought this shed seeing a variety of reviews online. I think lifetime has made efforts to make the assembly process more straightforward with all hardware labeled by assembly step, but the instructions are still confusing at some points. The shed looks good enough in the end but I have found that when people say the base must be level they are not kidding! I made mine pretty level using wood and compacted gravel where the bubble was tilting a bit to one side or the other, but still between the two lines. This was enough to throw my door alignment off (it still isn't perfect after shimming and I have to force one door closed plus had to move my latch location) and make the roof installation a real ordeal. We fought with the roof sections for a good 6-8 hours in total before we could get everything to reasonably line up. After all that, I am not a fan of how much this stock shed seems to sway at the walls when you press against them. You really need to add a couple of center cross pieces under the trusses to help stabilize things. I bought this to save some money but next time I am building my own. The cost savings wasn't really that great once you factor everything in over and above the shed, and the assembly had enough headaches with keeping things square and plumb such that I could have probably done better if I built it myself from scratch.

Looks nice but seems to be fragile

The product feels a bit too fragile (though time will tell), and it's difficult to assemble if the base isn't perfectly level. We have a concrete base, and one side had a ~1/2 inch difference at the corner, which caused the roof panels to misalign. This kind of tolerance should be taken into consideration by designers.
