Does not fit

The metal box holding the outlet does not fit properly inside the plastic housing, so the clear plastic cover does not close securely. Very Disappointed with this product. I have installed outdoor outlets in the past and have never encountered this problem before.

Q: Is there a strain relief mechanism with this box to protect the electrical cable connected to the outlet from being pulled? Or does a separate strain relief need to be purchased - if so what is recommended?

A: You will need to buy that separately these do not come with these plugs. Also PRO TIP these don't pair with the Alexa app easily, you will need to download the globe suite app and sync it woth the Alexa app which I still could not get to work because the globe app said my Alexa app password was wrong .... fyi
