I was on the hunt for a beginners lego set for my 4 year old that was both perfect for her skill level, and also one that she would be able to relate to. I happened to stumble across this set during my search for other lego gifts and picked it up for my daughter as it was perfect for her. She loved the characters, managed to build all the figures herself with minimal assistance and she really enjoyed the extra bricks that are part of the package to invent her own creations. I'd highly recommend this set for any beginner.
