This is an amazing frying pan. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly and is very easy to clean. It really is non-stick. I bought it on sale for $11.93 so a real bargain. If they had other sizes, I would have bought several of these.

Q: For the Lagostina ticino-copper non-stick frying pan #55837097556, 26 cm. What is the best way to care for it so that it doesn't loose its non-stick characteristic? Do I just wash in soap/water then rinse as usual? Do I need to pre-treat with oil?

A: Lagostina (my favorite all time cookware) is made either in China, Italy or France- This pan does not say on it where it is made so I suspect in China but it is still made by lagostina with the lagostina perfection. This is my favorite pan I use it all the time, heats up quickly and cooks the food evenly, I would recommend.

A: Yes, it's Teflon. It's not ceramic or titanium coated. It's cheap sprayed-on Teflon It's not much different than T-Fal except it's a different colour.

Q: I have been using Lagostina Ticino small fry pans for years. I buy when they are $11 or $12 and they easily last 4-5 years of daily use. When they start to stick a bit I buy a new one. Is it the copper tone that is so bad? Has Lagostina changed since?
