Is it worth the price?

Very scary to bump it to other glassware as it seems that it may break easily. I won't dare to try though as it won't be replaced anymore. When pouring, the spout leaves a lot of liquid residue, which is like a mess. These are my only concerns but big impact. The heat stays long though which is good.

Horrible tea pot

Doesn’t hold much water or heat. The handle pushes your hand up against the heated glass, burning you. Can’t carry it from counter to table without burning your hand

I like the insert as it keeps all tea leaves, however, when pouring you need to be careful. The handle is narrow and hard to grip - hand slides and you can burn hand on side of hot pot. Dribbles a lot

Huge disappointment- bad design!

I bought this tea pot with high hopes but was very disappointed. It is poorly designed. The metal lid gets scalding hot and it leaks which means it’s almost impossible to pour. I expected much more from Lagostina.

Q: Is this stove top safe?

A: I'm no 'Canadian tire expert" but I do know glass, and Borosilicate is the same glass they made glass pots and pans out of years ago, that went on the stove top. I will say though, be careful of the handle!

A: The tea infuser inside Lagostina’s glass teapot can be removed once the tea has steeped to your required strength. The tea infuser will be hot, therefore please remove it carefully.
