Extremely disappointed

Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bought this wok about a week ago and used it yesterday. It badly scratched my ceramic top stove. According to the manufacture it is safe for ceramic stove tops. NOT at all. Wasted my money, it's going straight to the garbage.

A very good wok

I bought two of this wok in the last three years. I like the white color. We cook lots of Chinese dishes, using it a minimum of twice a day on an induction range. The first one got burned and lasted for two and half years. The second is still in like-new condition. We do use high heat but the key is to avoid burning. Since it is on clearance sale now, I rushed to the store this morning and bought two more in case it is discontinued.

Dis-coloured With Use

I've had this pan for two years now and I've always used wooden or silicon spatulas with it and always hand wash it too. I wish it wasn't white because it didn't stay white for very long - it's a dingy yellow in the middle now. The wok-style is convenient for cooking larger amounts and it is semi-non-stick (it was a lot more non-stick during the first month of use). It's not cheap like you might get at a dollarstore, but it's not really a "high quality" pan either. Honestly, I prefer the Heritage Rock pans more (for non-stick) or a good quality steel pan.

I decided to try this ceramic wok instead of the non-stick ones because I like to cook on high-heat, so my non-stick wok/pans wears out pretty quickly. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and so far, I LOVE it! Good size, good shape, can stand high-heat and NOTHING sticks to it! and the white colour looks really neat! I hope this colour stays this way. At least there is no stains yet. Really happy I got this one on sale. I would say the quality is totally worth more than what I paid.

Great wok

Wow..great wok..tried the other Lagostina non stick carbon wok,and it sucked!! Or should I say the food stuck:( Upgraded to this wok and what a difference! I have used it a few times with medium heat as they say to use with ceramic cook ware and with very little oil everything slides out no mess and super easy cleanup.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: Lagostina’s Bianco-Forged wok can withstand short periods of high heat, however Lagostina recommends using low to medium heat in order to prolong the life of your non-stick wok. Avoid cutting onto the non-stick surface and use wooden or plastic utensils to maximize the life of your cookware.
