Red cast iron pot very poor quality finish

The inside finish on the lid is chipping off and leaves rust . For the price of this product I think it should last longer than ! year. I would not recomend Kitchen Aid cast iron cookware to anyone.

I purchased this when it was on sale. Even at full price it is a great dish. I have used it on the stove top and in the oven and it fantastic. Why you would pay Le Creuset prices when you can get this is beyond me!

Q: Porcelain Enamel Interior a hoax? I bought this on sale. The box was sealed, but the description on the box said "Porcelain Enamel Interior". Granted i am no expert, but shouldn't porcelain enamel interior feel like porcelain enamel? That is it should be smooth.

A: I agree. I am very dissapointed with the quality of Kitchen Aid. A well known company that is trading on their name and not on quality. I have bought my last kitchen aid product.
