Housing Cracked

Bought this a bit ago but just used it for the first time. Horrible! The housing around where the stem that goes into the mixer body is all cracked! And because of this (I hope) food also goes between the white plastic housing and the cone/shredder blade. So maybe half my food is shredded/sliced and the other is mashed up! But for the plastic body to just crack and give way, come on! Not high quality at all.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Should have looked at reviews before buying! My attachment cracked at the point where it attaches to the mixer.

was shredding cheese and plastic housing broke

This looks very similar to all the other issues the plastic near the coupling cracked. My wife was looking forward to using it to shred her parmesan for diner and it broke.

Plastic housing isn't durable

The neck cracked and a piece broke off (purple area marked in the photo - the plastic casing should make a full circle around the center metal piece). There are more cracks around the sides of that area (areas circled in blue). I anticipate at least a couple small pieces between cracks to break off soon.

Q: It looks like from the pictures that there are two different products here, the cone type shredder and the cylindrical type shredder. Which one is this actually? or does it come with both?

A: 3 different shredding discs. The cone you are referring to is likely the "pusher" that helps move food down the tubes to be sliced or shredded. see image
