Buy the tilt head instead

If I could do it again, I would buy the tilt-head model.
To remove the beater you have to plunge it deeper into the batter because the batter rings up much higher. The dough hook is basically useless — when making tamales I had to switch to the regular beater to mix the masa properly. The lift model also takes up a lot more space than the tilt-head. Many accessories aren’t available for the lift, and some that are available don’t work as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Game changer

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this stand mixer around Christmas time and I can’t believe I went this long without one. It is a permanent appliance on my countertop because it serves my family weekly! From the fluffiest scrambled eggs to pancakes, bread rolls and delicious yorkshires. My kids can’t believe how quickly I can serve up some homemade chewy chocolate chip cookies with this new addition to our kitchen arsenal!
