I purchased this mixer for my wife. Unfortunately, the mixer came with the planetary assembly separated from the mixer - these are supposed to come assembled. While the mixer itself seems well made, their support is awful. Over the period of two days I spent 3.5 hours on hold waiting to speak to a product specialist. Unfortunately for me, my job got in the way of being able to complete the wait - still trying to determine if the unit needs to be sent back or repaired. Good luck!!

My Dream Mixer

It comes with three different attachments and a user friendly manual for detailed instructions. I feel this will last a life time, and is well crafted to withstand some heavy use. This appliance will truly inspire me to become a better baker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now this is a stand mixer!! The kitchen aid 5.5qt lift stand mixer is exactly what you are looking for and more! The 5.5qt bowl is more than enough for even the largest recipes and the lift feature allows for easy and mess free adding of ingredients. The bowl locks in place with a simple to pins on each side and a quick click down lock. No matter what speed you use the mixer is still relatively quiet and it is solid with no wonky vibrations. The 3 included attachments give you endless possibilities which are a whisk, dough hook and a paddle. I used my kitchen aid ice cream maker attachment and it work perfectly. The vibrant signature kitchen aid red is beautiful! It comes at hefty price but with the quality and versatility it is well worth it and more! I can not wait to get additional attachments to further expand my collection!!
