It leaves color on surfaces. It did come off with soap, water and a bit of scrubbing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very underwhelming. I have never been a fan of kinetic sand but my daughter loves the stuff. She was very disappointed in this product. The surprise that came with the sand barely did what It was designed to Do. Made a huge mess. Save your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would make a great gift for someone as it is just a small container and would be a good addition for a childs collection of kinetic sand. They seemed to really enjoy it and would probably buy this again, thanks to Chick Advisor, My child was able to try this for free in exchange for a review.
