Kidde 10 year Smoke Alarm

As I cannot comfortably change batteries while using a step ladder, this product seemed to be the logical answer. I installed three on 18th November and if they last their 10 years, I should not need to replace them until November 2035. I don't believe I will be in my property that long but it is good to have that reassurance.
