Smoke co detector

Good product. Has new wiring connector so not plug and play when replacing older kidde detector. Led indicator light is super bright which is annoying. Mine is only in the hall but if it was in the bedroom I would consider a different product.

Hardwire Adapter not included

Bought 2 to replace existing out dated Kidde alarms. Hardwire plugins are different than old plugs. Need to purchase wire adapters 20-9003 not included. Unfortunately the store did not have these in stock. Bought for another store.

Q: Does it contain the conversion pigtail in the package to connect it to the previous wiring?

A: All the new Kidde models will not work with the old wiring harness (all alamrs come with the required hardware to isntall). ULC changes June 2024 mandated a change in power supply and the engineering changed the format.
