Q: Can you use the water just to make a cup of tea like I can with the regular Keurigs.
2 years agoA: All of our coffee makers can give hot water. Simply do the same process as brewing yourself a hot beverage without putting a K-Cup® pod in the machine. We suggest to do a first brew of water to clean the needles of any residue that K-Cup® pods may have left.

2 years agoA: Unfortunately no filter comes with the Keurig® Duo™ Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker. The K-Duo™ Single Serve & Carafe coffee maker can fit a flat-bottom paper filter that is compatible with a 12-cup coffee maker. You can also purchase our Keurig® Gold Tone Mesh Filter.

Q: A 12 cup carafe should use 3L (96oz) of water, yet the reservoir only holds 1.7L (60oz). What am I missing?
2 years agoA: Regardless of the discrepancy, if you fill up the reservoir for 12 cups of coffee, you will receive 12 cups of coffee, as per the carafe measurement. Enjoy your coffee.

Q: Can you use other brands of pods or do you have to use the Keurig brand?
3 years agoA: You can use any coffee in the carafe portion and any other brand of coffee eg Tim H’s that are available in Keurig shaped pods. You can also get a special reusable keurig shaped pod where you can load with whatever coffee you want.

Q: This Keurig Duo holds 60 oz water, can I brew 2 x 10 oz cups today. Then 3 tomorrow, and 1 on the following day before refilling? Or does all the water have to be used at once?
4 years agoA: Yes, you can brew multiple cups of coffee at different times as long as there is water to the MIN FILL line of the water reservoir. You don't have to use all the water at once.
