Nice looking solid general purpose shed

80% was able to be done by myself and the other 20% with my wife's assistance. Looks good and seems sturdy. Some options aren't available at Canadian Tire for this shed. i.e. shelves or water barrel options. Also, be prepared and make a solid lasting level base for your new shed. This will ensure proper fitting of pieces and will help to keep the shed from falling apart later on in the future.

Purchased this shed after returning another that was damaged. Took 2 of us about 5 hours to put it together. Assembly and instructions were done fairly easily and all pieces fit together nicely. So far so good I just hope it stands up to bad weather.

Q: What type of anchors are recommended to secure the shed to a concrete base

A: Cavity or wedge anchors should do the job. Secure the anchors through the designated holes in the shed’s floor and into the cement base using the largest washer possible to prevent accidental breakage of the plastic, and a drill bit that matches the wedge diameter.

Q: Can this shed be moved once assembled? We bought this shed earlier this summer and plan on putting it together this week. We would like to move it a few feet once assembled as there is a fence on two sides where we want to put it. Bylaws are not an issue for us.

A: Yes, you can, but only while it's empty. Either gently push the shed or slightly lift it up while ensuring the base is adequately supported. You could also use supporting beams to slide the shed into its designated location.

Q: Does the floor get attached to your base, this will have a cement pad, should I be the exact size I would like to make it about 4inches bigger around

A: The cement pad should be at least as big as the shed’s floor. Once the pad is set, you can fix the shed to the pad by drilling holes in the floor at the pre-marked locations and inserting proper screws into the ground. Good luck!

Q: What does Keter recommend putting under the shed as a base? Or can it just be placed on grass?

A: Keter recommends to construct a wooden or concrete base to be used as a foundation. While grass is a valid option, wood or concrete foundations are inherently more leveled and thus allow for easier assembly and greater shed stability. As well, these types of foundations are supposed to provide great stability when securing the shed to the ground, using the shed's designated holes.
