Not bad for the price; assembly could be easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this storage bench is not bad. It doesn’t seem exceptionally sturdy but at this price point for most people it should be fine. It does fit a pretty good amount (multiple cushions and chairs) and seems Iike it will hold up well enough. The assembly instructions and labeling could be better, though—they were a bit unclear and confusing. My brother, who’s normally pretty handy, assembled the box for me and he felt things weren’t labeled as clearly as they could be, so for those of us who aren’t as gifted when it comes to assembling things it could prove a little more difficult.

A great outdoor storage box with lots of space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Keter 101 gallon deck box. It could be slightly thicker on the bottom panel but overall it is durable and can hold a ton of stuff. It was easy to put together (even with me just doing so by myself) and it comes with everything you need. I love that it has the ability to be locked and that the top stays up on it's own until you are ready to put it down. Great option for storage!

Durable, Weather Proof, and Surprisingly Roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this deck box so far, it looks great on my patio and holds way more than I expected. The resin material feels durable, and it’s been keeping everything dry through a few heavy rains. I also love that the lid is sturdy enough to sit on when I need extra seating.
The only downside was the assembly. The pieces snap together, but some of them didn’t line up perfectly and took a little extra force to get in place. The instructions were simple, but actually getting the panels to click together took more time and patience than I expected. Once it was finally put together, though, it felt solid and stable.
Overall, if you need a spacious, weather resistant storage box that also looks nice, this one is a great choice. Just be prepared to spend a bit more time on the setup.

Effective outdoor storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Size and space are excellent. Looks quite good from a distance, but up close the material looks less "quality" than I was expecting. It's advertised as a pseudo bench as well, however after sitting on it, I'm not sure I would trust it for multiple people. Very lightweight and easy to move, but overall durability is still TBD.

A: Yes I agree with the base! But my bast is plastic coated so it stays dry. Can’t store anything Heavy . It would not hold up! I only use mine for winter storage of summer deck chair cushions. So not heavy. They have always stayed dry.

Q: Ive had this box for about 5 years now and the hydraulic part of the lid doesnt work anymore. ie the lid doesnt stay open unassisted anymore. Any idea how to replace it?

A: I had a problem with one of the hydraulic lid openers when I first bought some Keter boxes a few years ago. I contacted the company (in Israel as it turns out) and they shipped one to me. There is a 2 year warranty on parts. The installation was as easy as assembling the box in the first place. You can get a manual online if you've misplaced the instructions.
