It works really good. It does throw off a lot of heat. Follow the instructions to a letter. Otherwise you'll be in trouble. Looks really good.

Love it. Went together fairly easily. Had a few manyafacture defect parts. My local store exchanged them with another unit they had in the store. Saved me from having to package up the whole unit to bring back. Bonus.

A: Yes, ours is on carpet. Every piece of furniture put on carpets will leave a mark, so you shouldn't worry about it.

A: Mine doesn't get hot. There is no heat from it at all unless you turn on the heat fan and that only blows out above the glass.
