Test before you install

One speaker has a slight distortion in the bass. The tweeter in the other one doesn't work. After 3 hours getting them installed I will just live with it. It's not worth the hassle of removing and returning. They are in the back and I just wanted them to fill in the bass. I thought about snipping the wire on the one speaker's tweeter so at least they will match. Lesson learned here is to test the speakers for issues before a difficult and time consuming installation.

A: Crutchfield dot com should have all the info you need just put your make, model and trim level in. Any speaker will fit with adapter plates. But Canadian tire does not sell adapter plates which is frustrating.

A: I believe they should fit in the front and the rear of the Matrix. But to be sure, go to "crutchfield.ca" and enter your car details. They will give you many options of speakers that will fit your vehicle.

A: 6-11/16 " with grill on. Cut out size is 4-7/8" . It is a 4 Ohm speaker with 30 RMS power handling. This is a 6.5 inch speaker.
