Already Leaking

I bought this pressure washer last year at the end of May. It's April, one year later, and I used it yesterday for the first time this spring. The unit was not stored out in the elements during the winter. I noticed a lack of pressure when using it. When I stopped spraying, I could still hear a noise: The unit was leaking internally (I could see the water coming out from the bottom of the unit). Before this model I had had a Simonize unit for 12 years, but 'upgraded' to a higher pressure sprayer. I do not recommend this product. I will now find out if Karcher will honour its warranty.

Karcher Electric Pressure washer

Washer electrics have failed. I have owned it for under 2 years. Bought because of the past 35 years of commercial construction experience with Karcher commercial machines. This is the worst performance I have ever had from a pressure washer.
I had an electric Simmonize machine for over 10 years.
No, I do not recommend this product.

life span not normal

1st year was great and effective washing. loved it.
2nd year was starting to have hickups, alone going on/off/on/off/on/off ect... like its losing pressure alone... and I kept doing light work.
3rd year it started with hickups again and did not last 15minutes... then went dead and of course no more hickups... but leaks like crazy.
It was kept inside a heated shed averaged 20'celcius all winter long. NO FREEZE possibilities.
Diagnostic is... It's plastic!!!! most likely a crack in the plastic as it was leaking for no reasons at all ... and so now good for scraps and spare parts. (if I buy another one)
Question is ... is 2 years a normal life span for what it does and cost? (domestic use only) I don't think it is normal. If the manufacturer reads this "review" - simple solution is ... Please STOP using cheap plastics on your product... It would last a few more years if it is built with proper stronger materials, and you would have a better customer satisfaction GARANTEED!

A: Cette unité comprend un réservoir de détergent intégré. Q: What is the differences between this model and the K5 premium? Will the premium model be coming to Canada, I could only find it in the US sites

Q: Which model of K5 is this one? I'm guessing it's a discontinued model since I can't find the product number on the Karcher website. Can you tell me which attachments are included?
