3000 KM AND IT STILL KICKS , NO WONDER THEY DISCONINUED IT, WAS TOO GOOD.

I got this bike in 2021 in the fall. I rode it for 2500 kms until I started modifying it. So far it has been a good bike . If there is anything to complain about it is the front shocks , but they work. I added a throttle and a better controller and I like it even more (mods)

Bought this model and enjoyed it for 18 month and again as with my previous Junction ebike - motor died. You do not want to pay for an ebike that lasts two seasons only.

This is an amazing Bike. don't pay any attention to the negative reviews. Pedal assist means you can go almost any place a regular bike can go, where e-bikes with a throttle also are not allowed. I can ride on bike paths, Provincial Parks and trails where non e-bikes are allowed. The bike is 50lb, 44 without the battery which means I can still carry it on my travel trailer bike rack. It is supposed to have more weight, it has a motor and battery. I can pedal it with the electronics off, it feels more like a full suspension mountain bike that is also heavy. This looks and feels like a mountain bike. The ride is smooth and stable. I can dial up the amount of assist I want and choose how much exercise I want. I am in my 70's with some mobility issues and now I can get out and enjoy bike riding again. This is a great exercise tool for me. The build is good. It does not have expensive high end parts, the components are reasonable in quality and available at a bike shop if required or if you just want to upgrade. Not all e-bike have available parts. With the exception of the electronics and motor, it is a regular mountain bike. I chose this over a Raleigh Ascend Hardtail Electric Bike, 27.5-in, which is almost the exact same bike. This bike was on sale. I like the looks of the Junction better. The ride is very stable which is important for old bones, smooth on pavement and great on trails that are not paved. Someone commented you can't mount a water bottle on the frame. No problem, you can buy one that mounts on the handlebars a the Trek shop. I did. The front shocks are not the highest of quality, but they work fine. If you really feel you want to upgrade go for it. A lot less expensive than paying high prices for a bike that comes with high end shocks. Range. This is so hard to rate and compare. It depends on the weight of the rider, the hills, pavement or dirt trail, the air temperature (battery) and the amount of wind that day. I am getting good range of 40-50 km. I am not a small man. Remember also that it takes a few charge cycles for a lithium battery to get to maximum capacity. On the topic this has genuine Samsung cells. When your battery finally wears out you may have the option of a higher capacity battery which will extend your range. I love this bike. I love being able to bike again and am seeing the benefits of the increased health. This is a great bike for Seniors and the young as well.

Great bike! The right amount of power gets me up a steep hill.
