Great for bottles

With the top it becomes the perfect ice cube tray for bottles. It fills without spilling and the cubes are more like ice rods that slide right into most bottles, it’s great.

the plastic is to solid. you can't twist it so the ice breaks loose. You end up getting big chunks of ice instead of long slim pieces.

Great product with an excellent price.

These are excellent ice cube trays and work well as ice cube trays. However, I use them most of the year as covers for my oven loaf pan (made of glass) when I store food like pseudo grain, or lentils in the refrigerator. I like to use them as covers for oven loaf pans, because the ice cube tray has a slippery surface and washes up easily if food gets on it.

Not worth it

Glad I didn't pay a lot for this product since it doesn't work well. Over-filling, or under-filling or even filling just right still leaves the ice sticks broken whenever you try to take them out. I had hoped they would indeed be longer ice "cubes" but try as I might, they always break into two, three and four pieces. Would not buy again.

Best Ice Cube trays

The two best things about these trays are that the lid stays on, and the cubes come out so easily. I never use water on mine to get the cubes out. They almost always come out with a light twist of the tray and sometimes, if they stick a little, I just tap the bottom gently on the counter and they bounce up and out!. No fighting with it like others I've used.
