Quite time consuming to assemble and directions were not very clear but seems to be quite well made and hopefully will withstand rough use.
Battery charging set up is not ideal. A charge lasts only about 2 hours before having to remove the battery box and unhook/hook/unhook hook plug ins. Would prefer a straight plug in charging capability.

A: The date of manufacture is on a label under the dashboard where the steering wheel is located (just above the drivers knees). On the bottom left corner of the label there is a number that starts with 66 followed by 4 digits. That is the date code.

Q: What is average run time on a charge and how long to re-charge?

A: Like a regular automobile, the running time (gas mileage) depends upon both the weight being carried and the terrain being traversed. If the Gator is carrying two children up hills and/or on soft terrain driving time will be less than one child driving on pavement. Our in factory testing loads the vehicle to maximum capacity, 130 lbs passengers plus 22 lbs cargo, and then runs the unit on high speed continuously. One charge lasts for 37 minutes. (NOTE: This is not the way children play, they stop and go, get off and play with the dumping bed and rarely is the maximum load reached. ) The charging time is recommended to be 18 hours to fully recharge.
