Bought a couple of weeks ago already having two of the Go 4’s. Really pleased with the performance and battery life and a fan of the tactile nature of the casing. The sound quality is excellent and the only thing I’m not keen on is the pictographic instructions.

I spent time researching which was the portable best speaker and came up with the Flip 7. I've had it about 3 weeks and it lives up to the hype. It replaced a Sony speaker and is light years ahead. Amazing speaker, amazing sound, deep bass. Excellent

Will not charge

I’ve had this speaker less than a month. When I try to plug it in to charge, all the buttons light up and the speaker beeps, and the speaker won’t charge. Extremely frustrating considering the price and how long I’ve had it. It was a great speaker before it randomly stopped working.

Q: Will this connect to my Extreme 3 with PartyBoost? The features list on this page says "JBL PartyBoost - Yes" but I've read online that Auracast speakers are (annoyingly) not backwards compatible. Which is it?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Flip 7 does not float. However, it designed to be waterproof and dustproof. It has a rating of IP68 making it dustproof and immersible for up to 1.5m of water for 30 minutes.

Q: Can this speaker connect to other speakers outside of JBL with aura cast technology? And is it possible to turn the AI and microphone features off?

A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 can not connect to speakers outside our JBL speakers using Auracast. It can only connect to other JBL speakers that support Auracast. Also, the AI Sound Boost is an automatic feature and can not be turned off manually, and our Flip 7 does not have a built-in microphone, so there is no mic feature to enable or disable

A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 does not have a noise cancellation feature. This feature typically found in our headphones and earbuds. Additionally, if you receive an incoming call while playing music through the speaker, the music will automatically pause, and the call audio will play only through your phone, as the speaker does not support speakerphone feature.

Universal Compatibility: It utilizes a USB Type-C connection, which is common and compatible with chargers you likely already have for other devices. This makes charging more convenient, as you won’t need a specific cable. 2. Reducing Electronic Waste: By not including a cable, JBL helps minimize unnecessary accessories. Many users already have extra cables, so this approach helps prevent waste from unused items that could end up being discarded.

Q: Will I get true stereo sound when linking two speakers with app? Does it drain my phone battery more than one speaker?

A: Thanks for your question. With the Auracast feature, you can stereo pair two JBL Flip 7 speakers to enjoy true left and right channels for a wider sound. As for battery, linking two speakers does not drain your phone battery significantly more than usual, the extra battery draw is on the speakers' side, not your phone. The phone simply sends the Bluetooth signal; each speaker powers itself and draws from its own battery.
