Installed in a Porsche 944- cleanest subwoofer install! Can't tell it's there and car remains the stock look. Sounds great and I like the adjustability on the fly with the included remote.

Look. I’m 58 years old and drive a 2021 Honda CR-V Special Edition. Excellent car. Great stereo. No sub woofer. No room for one. Had this installed and I just have no words to describe it besides magnificent. Harmon bought JBL. Now we have this! The range of bass augmenting the stereo is phenomenal! Thank you engineering folks. Thank you.

Didn’t last 2 weeks

Worked great for two weeks then stopped working. Would go it protect mode each time it received a single. This was professionally installed and connections were check. Faulty until just decided to return it. Not happy expected more from JBL

Complete Sound Upgrade to a Stock System

I got this installed in January 2020 into my 2019 VW Jetta. This completely adds so much more low end that was missing from the stock system. Although the fitment guide said “oh no”, it was small enough to fit my car perfectly, basically a donut spare. However, the sound is not small, immediately a night and day difference by adding rich, smooth, and tight low end bass.

Great sound - innovative design

I have the Bass Pro Hub in the trunk of a Toyota Avalon and the sound is authoritive with the right amount of punch to satisfy. I control the sub from my car stereo subwoofer interface and was disappointed to learn that you couldn't run the Bass Pro Hub without the wired remote control (that I don't use and didn't install in the passenger cabin). Now I have a ton of wiring in my trunk hoping the install would be cleaner. Can't have everything.

Q: If using the high level input, do you still need a remote turn on wire? I want to use my factory stereo and just tap into the existing speakers.

A: You do not need to hook-up a remote when using high-level speaker inputs. The sub's amp will automatically turn on when it senses signal from the speakers.

Q: fuse On the BassPro is 30a and the instructions call for a 40a by the battery. Is this right? Or should I use a 30a inline fuse?

Q: Seeking clarity on the acceptable wiring gauge for the JBL BassPro Hub. Which is more compatible with this unit - An 8 gauge wiring kit (with a 60 amp fuse) -OR- a 10 gauge kit (with a 30amp fuse)?

A: Our JBL BassPro Hub is about 6-1/2" high and 14-3/16" wide. You'll have to measure the inside of your spare tire hub to see if the sub will fit your vehicle.

A: Yes. For this, please make sure that the recommended amplifier power would meet what our JBL Bass Pro Hub needs which is 200W RMS (2 ohms). If you need more help with set up and installation, please reach out to our Customer Support.
