These fully marinized speakers not only deliver JBL sound, but select models also feature RGB lighting to bring the sound to life. Engineered to withstand sun, salt, sea spray and wash downs, they feature sealed motor structure, UV resistant one-piece cast-polymer baskets, a sealed magnet and rubber surrounds. Q: What is the current draw of the LEDs? Is it the same for all speakers in the Club Marine Series?

A: That is not the question - in order to plan my circuits for the LEDs I need to know how much power they draw. In other words, with all 3 colors lit to 100%, do the LEDs in each speaker draw 2 watts, 5 watts, etc?

Q: We have 4 MS65LW speakers in our boat plus a MS10LW subwoofer. Are frequency response charts/graphs available for these speakers? If not, is there a recommended crossover frequency between the sub & full-range speakers?
3 years agoA: The frequency response of our JBL Club Marine MS65LB is 50Hz – 20kHz, while the frequency response of the MS10LW is 25Hz -500 Hz. You can set the crossover as low as 50Hz (the MS65LB lowest frequency capability) or as high as 500Hz (the MS10LW highest frequency capability). Generally speaking, 80Hz is a great starting point. Start there and adjust up or down until you find the best sound, without exceeding 50Hz or 500Hz in either direction.

Q: Hooked up audio per doc, LED black to +12v, blue to neg. If stereo on & no power to LED, part of LED is lit dimly. Alternated removing +/- speaker wire & remains lit, turns off only when power to audio is off. Others speakers work fine. Is this normal?

Q: how we chage the lights in the speaker MS65LW ? are they works the same as kicker marine led speaker 65
