Q: Why the bad ratings? How much different can it be from the syringes which get a great rating? This would be a better value than the syringes but not if it doesn't work well.

A: I ended up buying this and I am happy with it, anything I am using this on I leave extended time to allow it to fully dry not worth it to rush it and risk having a mess and have to redo the job.
