JB Weld Hi-Temp Red Silicone Gasket Maker & Sealant is an RTV (room temperature vulcanized) silicone gasket material designed for use in mechanical assemblies where higher continuous temperatures up to 550º F or intermittent 650º F may exist. . After curing, which occurs when the product is exposed to moisture in the air, the silicone forms a strong, waterproof seal on most surfaces. It does not shrink or crack, resists weather, is sensor safe, and is ideal for many automotive applications.

Alternative uses for JB Weld‼️

I used this product in a unique way. I have silicone oven gloves that over time had developed a few holes or thin spots that meant I got burned a few times. I therefore used the J B Weld to patch the gloves and it worked wonderfully. It adhered well and when tested on hot items out of the oven it blocked all heat from reaching my hands. I give this product 5 stars!⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A: If this is to seal oil look to our 32329 Ultimate Black. If air or water the Gray 32327 is best

Q: If the set time says 1 hour can you drive the car after 1 hour or you have to wait the full 24 hours to drive the car?

A: It depends on the application on the car. If its exhaust work best to let it set for 24 hours before driving. Other engine work, we suggest it set at least 6 hours before use
