Great Bike - bad Service

I lost a key for the battery. Yes my fault. Canadian Tire was no help. I found a number to call for Izip and was told a key was $50 and they did not know how long it would take. It had to come from China. I was not able to find a blank anywhere. It just made me worry if it was a more critical part.

Good Solid E-bike

E-bike is good looking, with shocks on front wheel and a throttle to use when you don't want to pedal. Bike shifts gears easy and the electronics make it easy to adjust the pedal assist. Being close to 60 years old the pedal assist gives me the ability to ride where ever I want. Lights on front and back make bike more safe on roads and trails. Bike also has a rack above back wheel, I purchased a cooler storage bag to be able to store stuff on my travels. Bike seems to be built very solid and looking forward to years of bike riding.

Great Electric Bike

Well built, good power, nice frame design to carry items, good shocks, comfortable seat that is easily adjustable, motor provides sufficient power for a heavier person, bright lights, user friendly, quick acceleration, and good brakes. Highly recommend.

A: The battery that came with my iZip ebike is a lithium-ion 48 volt 14 Ah /672Wh battery made in China. Model DKY-DCM1-PH134B.916 Replacement batteries are available by other manufacturers in the USA. A little time on the internet will lead you to the businesses that sell every kind and type of replacement battery made. Hope this info helps you.

A: You can ride in light rain, however, make sure the plastic protector cap is closed on the battery charging port before riding. After riding be sure to wipe the bike dry, especially the LCD display, battery holder any any other exposed electronics or cables

A: First make sure the LCD display is turned on. Then press and hold the Up ▲ button for 2 seconds until the lights/backlight is lit. Press and hold the Up ▲ button for 2 seconds again to turn it Off.
