This has probably saved my life

I have high gutters and a steep roof. The looj makes gutter cleaning much much safer. It is important to have realistic expectations though, it isn't as self sufficient as the Roomba. I tied some thin rope to the back of mine and usually monitor it the whole time, pulling it back when it gets stuck or flips over. The benefit though is that you only have to setup a ladder once to clean an entire gutter. You only need one safe place to put the ladder- so you're not climbing through bushes and on slopes. I've used mine about twice a year for the past 8 years and it has worked great until now. The brush/paddle motor doesn't seem to have the power it used to so I came here trying to buy another one. I'm worried though because they aren't available right now and are not listed on iRobot's main products list. Everyone needs to buy these so they keep making them. It's a great product!

Worked great until it didn't

After using it about a dozen times it lost it's torque. Any small amout of resistance the brush would stop spinning. Fully charged made no difference. Bottom line, it's great when it works. But would not buy another one for the limited amount of life i got out of it.

Gutter protectors

I have gutter protectors on and I wish I had not. It is alright with leaves But It is no good for pine needles and my neighbour has six 500 feet trees right on the property line Got gutter protectors but guess what pine needles go through and clog up.
