Pretty cool stuff!

First time using this product and it is pretty cool, if you want stuff bonded instantly this is for you. I just find that after it's sprayed on the glue it kinda doesn't look too attractive anymore. That may not be an issue for most people but occasionally I use this for projects that are seen up close all the time.

Q: Do you need to use activator? I've seen other on YouTube just using the glue itself and it bonds instantly - no activator needed.

A: use the activator on my opposing side to create a solid Bond that is instantaneous. I find it also helps to spray some of the activator on the outside of the bond just solidify it further. you can also add a bead of this glue and spray over it with the activator close small gaps with a solid filler.

Q: Could I use this to attatch a polyurethane ceiling medallion to a painted drywall celing (and not need screws)?

A: Yes you can use Instantbond to adhere a PU medallion to the ceiling. In fact, It is a great example of the special usage of Instantbond. Here are a few installation pointers. Make sure the ceiling area is flat and free of dust and greasy film. Then proceed to use a few rings of a 1/8 bead of the adhesive on the back of the medallion, spray the activator on the desired ceiling area. Press the medallion onto the ceiling and hold it firmly for 10-20 seconds. (Longer the better because the ceiling might not be perfectly flat) Caulk the medallion circumference for the finishing touch.
