Q: How long do you have to wait before having a fire Just wondering how long I have to wait for the rope to set before I can start a fire in my woodstove.

A: If the rope is stuck to the slot in the door and you can close the door so the rope doesn't move then you can have a fire right away. The gasket cement will dry faster with a warm stove. I've had no problem doing this.
