This little cooler does the job. Ive been usi g it for a work contract in a campsite with electric hook-up. Though it only has one cold setting, its been on 24-7 for a week and no wilted or frozen vegetables drinks are cold. It small, but it works for a couple days of supplies. If you planned on usi g for drinks alone id give it 5 stars. Did notice a nit of condensation build up witch needs to be upkept for thi gs like cheeze.
Also needs an adapter chord for regular socket plug-ins, but comes with car adapter extention.
Overall decent product.

Bought this on sale, thinking it be worth it. Unlike a traditional 12v refrigerator cooler, this does not actually cool down to a certain temperature. Rather, it cools down based on the ambient temperature. This being said, if it is warm outside, the temperature inside the cooler will be colder than the outdoor temps but not cold.
Fan is incredibly noisy. does not come with a 120v adapter.
Overall not impressed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Worked well to bring groceries 2 hours in hot car. Wasn’t pre cooled as suggested in instructions, didn’t matter. Do wish it included the converter for house current. Do wish it had handle on both ends instead of just one, rolls well but would be easier to lift into car with second handle. Anne

A: I have this cooler. I put frozen sealed freezer packs (not ice) in the bottom of it, so that when the cooler has to be unplugged for awhile, it stays cold.

A: The cooler can’t be left in the rain because the fan and ventilation fans are on the top of the cooler and are exposed to the top of the cooler, where the elements would be accessing it. Considering it is a 12V car adapter I’m not sure why you’d have it outside anyways. When cooling the cab of the vehicle in transportation, the cooler has the ability to freeze products inside.

Q: "Cools down 36°F below ambient temperature" - is this statement true because that is like 2 degrees Celsius which is pretty useless.

A: The inside of the cooler would be 20C cooler (equivalent to 36F cooler) than the outside temperature. If the ambient (outside) temperature is 30C (86F) the temperature inside the cooler would be 20C (36F) lower = 10C (50F).

A: not sure what you mean. it comes with a power cord but if you want to run it on household current you need to purchase an adapter to change current. I got mine at home hardware.

Q: Does the cooler cool 36 below ambient indiscriminately or is there a low temperature limit? e.g. if it's cool outside is it going to freeze everything in the cooler? AND If I put frozen things in do they stay frozen?

A: You just need to have an outlet with power when the vehicle is not running. As a note though it will draw down your battery so be aware of this and run the car at intervals.
