Ifit “active pulse” heart rate monitor

Works well with most ifit series I do on my treadmill. The charge lasts a long time. Only negative thing (hence the reason for the 4) is it seems some programs do not adjust accordingly even though they are the type of workout that should. I did an interval session today (which normally it works very well with) yet it showed on screen as simply “monitoring” the whole time, and did not increase my intensity despite my heart rate being way too low. I do not know why the odd one doesn’t work well. Some programs have a disclaimer that says they may not work well with active pulse (usually steady state like workouts), but most often it still kicks in when necessary even for those. So why the odd workout where it never coordinates with your heart rate?... I have no idea. My “push button” to start is also getting finicky, but there’s a year warranty so I’ll deal with that if it becomes worse with time. Overall, I am very happy with it other than the issues with a few workouts.
