Purchased used from a friend who moved away. This bad boy moves a lot of snow, especially on a drifted sidewalk.

Underpowered!

Bought this snowblower a month ago and on its first use it immediately bogged down to a point it nearly stalled when it hit six inches of snow! It was useless and had to put it back in the shed. I will admit the snow was a bit wet but I pulled out my old yardworks snowblower (357 cc) and it had it no issues whatsoever. The st 324 is obviously way underpowered. Total disappointment! It really deserves 0 out of 5 stars.

Not worth the price

I got it december 24th, used it 3 times before it started acting up. Doesn't handle very well, doesn't seem to stay straight and goes uphill, bolts weren't screwed properly so I had to screw it myself and use one of the screws provided. Half of the front doesn't seem to work. It hasn't been two months and im already having issues with it. Not worth the price at all

Q: I have a gravel driveway way can I use this machine if not which one do I need to get ?

A: There are guides on the auger housing that you can set up and down. You want to leave them down about a half inch so the lip doesn’t cut down into the rocks. You want to skim over them and create a level surface that will hopefully freeze over for next time. With a rock driveway you will always pick some up and will end up raking them off the lawn in the spring. Just turn your chute down when around cars and windows.

Q: Do you make plastic shoes to substitute for the steel shoes it comes with ? Concerned they will mark the driveway.

A: Never had an issue with the metal skid olates leaving marks on the paved driveway. I would think that plastic skid plates would wear quickly.
