Well, I was hoping that the other reviews were just people not being patient but maybe there is something. I have used chainsaws in the past and all ran with no issues. I bought this one to use to clean up trees on a horse lease and sofar not overly impressed. Right from the start it has a hard time just idling, no need for a kill switch. Maybe I needed the larger unit, but it has a hard time with larger trees and bogs down quite often, even when not cutting.
If you are doing anything more than trimming branches off a tree, maybe look to the bigger units Husqvarna makes.

A: File diameter is 5/32" not 3/8". 3/8" is the chain pitch.

Q: husqerna chain saws only come with a parts warranty,why is the labour not included.This sounds to me as they are trouble from the start whith a warran

A: Because its a consumer saw for $250 and the labour far outweighs the cost. One hour of labor, never mind two or three hours would be many times the profit they make on this. Saws are extremely damage prone as you can see from the work they perform. The need to be inspected and serviced every few hours and rebuilt after a few hundred hours if they are pro saws. Consumer saws like this would simply be thrown out. Don't expect to buy a saw and have good cost of ownership if you can't maintain a small engine.
