Husky 120 Markiii

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased 11-19-25 to cut smaller wood for stove. Already have a Husky 460 that runs great even after 5 years. This 120 however has failed to start on it's 2nd tank of fuel. Will attempt to start with choke on but not run once it is off. I have been rebuilding small engines for decades and have enjoyed all the Husky products I owned. This one may break that trust.

A: File diameter is 5/32" not 3/8". 3/8" is the chain pitch.

Q: husqerna chain saws only come with a parts warranty,why is the labour not included.This sounds to me as they are trouble from the start whith a warran

A: Because its a consumer saw for $250 and the labour far outweighs the cost. One hour of labor, never mind two or three hours would be many times the profit they make on this. Saws are extremely damage prone as you can see from the work they perform. The need to be inspected and serviced every few hours and rebuilt after a few hundred hours if they are pro saws. Consumer saws like this would simply be thrown out. Don't expect to buy a saw and have good cost of ownership if you can't maintain a small engine.

A: we didnt get there, we returned it right away because the handle was broken the moment we bought it, we replaced it with other brand and its been a year already and we are still using it
